Below are travel options from all three major NYC-area airports to our hotel blocks.
From John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
● To Lotte New York Palace / Midtown East Hotels:
○ Taxi/Rideshare: ~45–75 minutes depending on traffic. Flat fare taxis to Manhattan are approximately $70–$80 (plus tolls & tip).
○ Public Transit:
■ Take the AirTrain JFK to Jamaica Station
■ Transfer to the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to Grand Central Madison
■ From there, it’s about a 10–15 minute walk or short taxi ride to the hotels
● To Central Park South / Midtown West Hotel:
○ Taxi/Rideshare: ~45–75 minutes
○ Public Transit:
■ AirTrain to Jamaica Station
■ LIRR to Penn Station
■ Short taxi or subway ride uptown (or ~20-minute walk)
From LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
● To All Hotel Blocks:
○ Taxi/Rideshare: ~25–45 minutes depending on traffic
○ Public Transit:
■ Take the Q70-SBS bus to Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Ave
■ Transfer to the E, F, M, or R subway lines toward Manhattan
■ Exit near your hotel area (Lexington Ave for Midtown East or 7th Ave for Central Park South)
From Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
● To All Hotel Blocks:
○ Taxi/Rideshare: ~35–60 minutes depending on traffic
○ Public Transit:
■ Take the AirTrain Newark to Newark Airport Rail Station
■ Transfer to an NJ Transit train to New York Penn Station
■ From Penn Station:
■ Midtown East hotels: taxi or subway (~10–15 minutes)
■ Central Park South hotel: taxi, subway, or ~20-minute walk
GENERAL TIPS
● Taxis and rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are the easiest option if you have luggage
● Public transit is the most budget-friendly and reliable during peak traffic hours
● Allow extra travel time during rush hour (7–10 AM and 4–7 PM)
